Stephen Miller is an American political advisor and former senior advisor for policy for President Donald Trump. His parents, Michael and Miriam Miller, were involved in real estate, and Miller grew up in a relatively affluent environment. He attended Santa Monica High School, where he began to develop conservative political views, influenced by the writings of thinkers such as David Horowitz.

Miller attended Duke University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 2007.
